Part of the Indian Navy's Operational Deployment of its Eastern Fleet to the South China Sea included a visit to Manila, Philippines by the Indian Naval Ships Delhi, Shakti, and Kiltan. India's strong links to the Philippines and its commitment to strengthening those ties were made clear by the visit.
